ABOUT IZABELA MOLENDOWSKI
I am a Registered Professional Planner with a background in human geography, land use planning, policy development, master planning, and, strategic initiatives. I have an interest in research on transit-supportive development, inclusionary zoning, inclusive city-building, and retrofitting suburban neighbourhoods. With my extensive amount of work experience in both the public and private sector, I have been able to obtain a wide variety of experience in the urban planning industry. Through my work for Urban Strategies Inc, Goodmans LLP, City of Toronto, Weston Consulting, Congress for the New Urbanism, and the Town of Richmond Hill, I have developed a firm grasp of various planning concepts and issues, appropriate research methods, master planning strategies, and policy analysis. I also offer strong communication and project management skills, and successfully communicate research findings, objectives, and timelines in a variety of formats including technical reports, presentations, and formal client meetings.
