ABOUT IZABELA KURPIOS
Hello, my name is Izabela, though I am more commonly referred to as Iza. Currently, I am a junior in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, pursuing a major in Accounting, with a keen interest in obtaining a certificate in Business Analytics.At UMass, I have participated in Deloitte’s FanTAXtic case competition, advancing my analytical skills and collaboration abilities. In addition, I am a brother of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, and served on the 2025 executive board as the VP of Professional Activities. As a part of the accounting program, I became the founder of the newly established RSO, Alliance for Women in Accounting, or AWA, and served as the VP of Finance and Sponsorship. More recently, I completed my first semester as a Teaching Assistant for the Principles of Financial Accounting course. Looking ahead, I am eager to start my summer internship in Hartford at KPMG as an Embark Scholar Intern. Long-term goals involve continuing my education through the Isenberg School of Management’s four-plus-one accounting program. Ultimately, I aim to undertake the CT CPA exam.
