I am a Indepedent Occupational Health Nurse with 19 years experience across a broad range of industries. I have extensive experience of creating and developing in house occupational health services as well as providing ad hoc services. Skills: Sickness absence management, health surveillance, DSE workstation risk assessment, drug and alcohol policy development and chain of custody screening. HAVS screening and work related upper limb disorders. I am able to provide in depth, condition specific risk assessments. Areas of special skill and interest: My reports provide clear and definitive advice so employers will easily know whether their employee is being managed towards rehabilitation, or being unable to work in the long term. In most cases this can be indicated after initial assessment and without onward referral. I have received specific training in expert witness report writing. My reports are written in a style that will be acceptable by a court or tribunal. I have a specific interest in the employement aspect of disbility (The Equality Act 2010), and drug & alcohol issues.
