60% of this roles time is spent on direct interpretive programming, which includes conducting 9 programs weekly. These programs are given to a wide range of ages and some originally developed by me.Programs include but are not limited to- Animal handling and care (trained with a Barred Owl and Corn Snake)- Guided hikes and canoe floats- Creek ecology and wildlife- Night sky navigation and viewing - Jr Ranger nature skills week (fires, shelter, water, navigation)- 1 week of Trail building at the Cumberland Trail- Assist with volunteer work programs
