Provide recommendations, interpretations & guidance to senior leaders, including the Executive Team, Council Executive Leadership, & National Finance & Risk committees regarding contracts, state/federal regulatory requirements, governance, crisis management, intellectual property, copyright & trademark protection, management & operational matters impacting safety, brand & operational risks to the national org. Ultimately fostering a risk-conscious culture & engendering risk ownership & accountability nationally- Develop & implement national enterprise risk management strategy and goals including foundational processes, alignment with FY initiatives and strategy, risk aggregation, reporting, & ongoing improvements- Organizational Regulatory Compliance Oversight-Develop & meet dept. budget goals & impact- Maintain log of all org. vendor contracts, licensees, U.S. & Canada chapters & donors ensuring all org. obligations are met - Aggressively investigate intellectual property infringement, draft & send cease & desist and co-existence agreements across the U.S. & Canada-Maintain & update intellectual property portfolio, including federal renewals- Review & negotiate all significant contracts +) & ensure compliance with internal policies, insurance, indemnity, confidentiality- Manage annual insurance renewal process with insurance broker for HQ and national plan holding 200 + accounts and lead RFP processes for brokers & products- Plan & manage execution of the enterprise risk assessment process, to identify, assess, monitor, & document enterprise risks- Comprehensive operational policy audit, review & development- Lead & oversee National IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access) Policy Subcommittee- Lead & oversee the National Policy Committee, National Risk Committee- Building risk awareness nationally via operational support, training development & facilitation
