ABOUT IVO ANJO

I\'m a Software Engineer with a passion for tech and open-source software, and I currently have the pleasure of working at Datadog on their Continuous production profiler.Technology and computing isn\'t just my job; they\'ve always been my passion. I believe that software should only be limited by either the hardware or the user\'s imagination, and I strive to build software that fulfils that goal. Besides awesome software, I also love messing with cool (old and new!) hardware.I really enjoy playing with both Kotlin and the Ruby programming languages, and in my free time I like to further my world domination plans by trying to further the Ruby ecosystem by contributing to open-source projects. I also really enjoy playing around with concurrency, be it locks, actors, transactional memory or non-blocking approaches.I also enjoy blogging about my experiments at https://ivoanjo.meIn a past life I worked on getting my PhD on automatic parallelization of applications via Java bytecode analysis and rewriting. As part of that work, I focused a lot on Java parallel programming (especially lock-free programming) and low-level Java transformation and performance tweaking.
