Manage the day-to-day operation of assigned Avenue NYC organizational development programs, including managing annual outreach and recruitment efforts, developing and implementing curriculum and professional development trainings, and managing all related program administration, scheduling, and coordination. Conduct outreach and marketing efforts for the Avenue NYC program to reach NYC CBDOs for the purpose of receiving competitive proposals to available NDD funding opportunities. Facilitate conversations with CBDOs and other stakeholders (i.e, other City agencies or institutions) on a range of complex issues and projects that impact commercial corridors. Provide support to additional Capacity Building programs as assigned (i.e, workshops, legal assistance, Board Build, Neighborhood Leadership, and community engagement assistance) to increase the capacity of CBDOs to operate efficiently, demonstrate good governance practices, and implement effective commercial revitalization projects. Manage the contract process for the new grants that support the NYC Business Improvement District (BID) network. Act as a project lead and point of contact for the Avenue NYC program within NDD’s cross-functional program implementation step-up. Serve as a responsive and insightful representative of SBS at BID Board of Directors meetings and public events.
