ABOUT IVAN RIGONI

At F1 Ivan spearheaded the technical revamp of the platform running the formula1.com website (5x faster response time, lower cost of change). He’s member of the content security working group to fight piracy and abuse. He’s currently working at the full feature redesign of both formula1.com and F1 app. New engaging features coming soon! At NotOnTheHighStreet, Ivan rolled out a technical strategy, prioritised architecture work for high value/high impact initiatives, brought in his experience in transforming the architecture landscape for scale, whilst taming complexity. At DAZN Ivan has helped scaling the business up from 300 to employees and from 5 markets to Global with millions concurrent viewers; he fostered the Architects community founding the Architects Guild; has been protagonist in transitioning from the 1.0 monolithic to the 2.0 microservice-based architecture in customer acquisition & retention, content delivery and sports data, adding a pinch of performance and AI. Summarising, is an experienced Senior Architect, with a strong interest in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF 9.1 Certified) and comes from solid past as a Software Engineer in a very wide variety of industry verticals. Global e-Commerce, IoT, OTT, large scale cloud platforms are all part of his experience.Recognised skills are leadership, passion in knowledge transfer and taking ownership to ensure successful delivery.
