I began my career in entertainment as an intern for Cumulus Media. After a semester I interned at the number one news station in Kansas City KMBC 9 News an ABC affiliate. After my news internship I returned back to radio and shortly after graduating from the University of Missouri Kansas City I was hired on by Cumulus Media as a Sales Representative for Sweet Jack. Making my transition from Sales Representative to On Air Personality required me to learn any and everything about the radio Industry. During my 8+year radio career I have been a producer, promotions coordinator, social media coordinator, and street team member.There is never a dull moment in radio! The most exciting thing is connecting with my listeners. I am an On Air Personality for KCHZ 95-7 The Vibe a top 40 station and KCJK 102-5 Jack FM. On Jack FM I do the \"Jacktivites\" a rundown of what\'s hot and happening in the city which led me to my job at KCPT.My first year a KCPT I served as a Producer and On Air station ambassador reporting about all the different platforms the station had to offer for our viewers by tying in what\'s happening locally. The segment then turned into the weekly rundown during the PBS Weekend Newshour where I Co-Host and report the top local stories for the week.With my experience reporting and producing for KCPT it led me to the Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympics. That was where I was able to represent my Brazilian and American Heritage as the Host for the Rio 2016 Basketball games and Paralympic Swimming competitions. There I had the opportunity to report in both Portuguese and English.After the Olympics I soon added entertainment contributor for Fox 4 News. At Fox I have a bi weekly segment featuring new music and pop culture news. I also talk about awards ceremonies such as the Grammys, Billboard Music Awards and the Academy Awards. I love anything that has to do with the media world and excited to see where my journey takes me next.
