ABOUT IVANA FENOGLIO
Ivana Fenoglio is Professor at the at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Torino. She is the Coordinator of the Master Program in Industrial Biotechnology She has consolidated expertise in materials-biological fluids interface processes (like the interactions with proteins, or the reactions promoted by redox-active materials) in the definition of structure-activity relationships for the classification of materials into categories with different hazard. Her research is also focussed on the development of functional advanced materials by sustainable and safe-by design strategies for medical applications (nanomedicine). Ivana Fenoglio is member of the Editorial Boards of Particle and Fibre Toxicology and Frontiers Bioengineering and Biotechnology.
