Comprised of 27 team members, including 22 full-time sworn personnel, 2 full-time dispatchers, and 3 seasonal Rangers, the division oversees acres of parkland, making it the third-largest county park system in the United States. This expansive area features 4 lakes, 3 marinas, 2 beaches, 3 campgrounds, and over 160 miles of trails. Rangers adopt a community-focused, ambassadorial approach, patrolling by vehicle, boat, ATV, bike, and on foot to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for the 1.5 million visitors who explore the Jackson County Parks each year.
