I am responsible for capturing the energy and essence of high-profile celebrity guest speaker events. Working in one of the top film schools in the nation, I’ve had the privilege to document visits from A-list celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Bill Hader, and Daniel Craig, as well as internationally acclaimed creators like Hirokazu Kore-eda.My role involves:Photographing live events, Q&A sessions, and candid behind-the-scenes moments with industry leaders. Collaborating with event and marketing teams to ensure all key moments are highlighted for promotional and archival use. Plus editing and delivering high-quality images that reflect the professionalism and creativity of Dodge College.

ABOUT IVAN VELASCO
My name is Ivan Velasco, and with nearly a decade of experience in film production, photography, marketing, and web design, I am passionate about creating compelling visual narratives that make use of analytics to drive engagement. My portfolio includes over 100 short and feature-length films, commercials, and web projects. I’ve generated over in commercial sales, managed financial accounts, overseen four websites, making use of analytics in all these projects to raise content engagement averaging 150%. Over the past three years, I’ve worked at 50+ public events, including NASCAR, while post-processing thousands of images weekly. Beyond my professional work, I use my platform to advocate for epilepsy awareness, reduce stigmas, and educate others. When I’m not burning images onto strips of film, you can find me designing websites, learning tech, and finding new ways to creatively promote and advocate for content.
