Energy Leader, Author, and Private Investor. Founder and CEO of two successful portfolio companies. WAO - Westlawn Americas Offshore (private capital) focused on the US GOM and Brazil, and Sierra Oil and Gas focused on Mexico (Encap, Riverstone and Blackrock). Both had a clear and bold vision, over 2 bn of equity deployed via M&A, bilaterals, licensing; over 1bn of reserves, detonating over USD 7 bn of gross capex and 200k boepd. Past experiences include leadership and technical roles at Statoil, OPEC, Merrill Lynch, and BP. Active participation in several leading think tanks, teaching, boards, and author of several technical and thought leadership research.
