ABOUT IVAN NSUBUGA
Hello, my name is Ivan Nsubuga. I am a senior at the University of Oklahoma, on track to graduate in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the Price College of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of Arts and Sciences. I have chosen to study MIS and Economics because I am a critical thinker; I enjoy assessing different situations and risks and formulating creative solutions for different problems. During my time at OU, I have excelled in my coursework, and I am involved in various clubs and programs. I was accepted into the highly selective JCPenney Leadership Program as an associate in the spring of 2024. In this program, I can network with business professionals and develop leadership skills. Additionally, I am a learning spaces technician in the OU Information Technology department, where I use my software and database administration skills to serve customers. In each of my organizations and previous involvements, I have sought to improve my relationship-building and organizational management to make a positive impact on campus and throughout the community here in Norman, Oklahoma.I also had the privilege of studying abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica, where I completed my high school education. There, I had the chance to experience different cultures and immerse myself in the various traditions they celebrated. This experience has shaped me into an open-minded and curious student devoted to continuous learning. My top five strengths according to Gallup’s Strengthfinder 2.0 are:1. Competition2. Relator3. Focus4. Responsibility5. Significance
