As an Assistant Researcher at the Chair of Particle Technology, my research focuses on the supercritical hydrogenation of pyrolysis oils derived from processed plastics. This research aims to contribute to the sustainable production of ‘new’ plastics by recycling hydrogenated oils back into the manufacturing cycle. Given the complex multi-component nature of pyrolysis oils, my work centers on analyzing their phase behavior with hydrogen to identify optimal reaction conditions. With a strong foundation in thermodynamics and simulation, I am dedicated to advancing this critical area of sustainable technology
