UCA is the ONLY institution in the state of Arkansas where students can major or minor in Insurance & Risk Management. As the leader of the program, I have the awesome responsibility of encouraging and inspiring students to consider the program and the plethora of opportunities that await. As Lecturer, I teach “Introduction to Insurance” and a level 3 elective course “Risk and Insurance”. In addition, I collaborate with the Dean of the College of Business, Department Chairs, Faculty, Staff and the insurance marketplace, in the interest of addressing workforce needs and developing new internship and career opportunities for UCA students.
