As a dedicated student-athlete at Furman University, I am pursuing a dual major in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Data Analytics. My academic journey has sharpened my analytical thinking, while my experience as an athlete has instilled discipline, resilience, and strong time management, qualities essential in high-pressure environments.Beyond the classroom, I actively contribute to the Student-Athlete Advisory Council and the Investment Club, further honing my leadership and teamwork skills. My interest in investment banking stems from its fast-paced, analytical nature and the opportunity to work on high-impact financial transactions. The industry’s dynamic challenges align with my problem-solving abilities, while the demanding environment matches the discipline and resilience I’ve cultivated as a student-athlete. I am particularly drawn to roles in M&A and capital markets, where I can apply my quantitative skills to financial modeling, valuation, and strategic decision-making. To strengthen my technical expertise, I am developing proficiency in Python for data analysis and algorithmic trading through the Zero to Mastery program.I take a functional approach to tasks and embrace every opportunity for learning and growth.
