ABOUT IVAN ALEJANDRO ROCHA
Ivan Alejandro Rocha (he/him) is a film editor, director, cinematographer and creative content creator living in Austin, Texas. A senior Radio-Television-Film and Journalism student at The University of Texas at Austin. This past year, Ivan has been creating award winning content for the Office of the Dean of Students social media platforms. Currently, he is a Digital Content Intern for Moody College of Communication’s MarCom’s team.His creative work spans narrative, documentary, and multimedia projects, including \'To Make The People Happy\'(2025),\'Ahora Que\'(2024), Valerie Chavez’s ‘Duende’ (2025) and \'A Mano y Con Amor\'(2024), and digital creative marketing content for both Moody College and The Office of the Dean of Students at UT. Aside from that, Ivan also work as a first assistant director and producer on sets with his most recent work in two thesis films,\'A Good Show\'(2025, dir. Maddie Dau) and \'The Goblin\'(2025, dir. Santiago Berkely). As an indie filmmaker, Ivan is looking to expanding his voice and finding his place in the storytelling world.
