Hello! My name is Iulia Gheorghiu, and before you get too intimidated by looking at it - know that it sounds a lot like \"You\'re You,\" but with a \"guh\" sound before each word. Try it:\"G\'You\'re G\'You\"I graduated from American University with a dual degree in journalism and business and I am interested in business writing and joining an investigative newsroom. I reported on energy topics at Morning Consult, a media and technology company with a more specialized professional audience. I also worked at the Project On Government Oversight, finishing up a communications-based fellowship and following the influence of outside interests on federal policy. Before joining POGO, I interned for the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press where I participated in Sunshine Week and became interested in government transparency issues on a local and national scale. I am a multilingual, versatile and engaged worker that\'s had the opportunity to work as a Capitol Hill correspondent and to see journalism from a business-management side, during an organizational make-over.I enjoy learning and discussing about the state of media and its developing role in our culture - and I look forward to hearing from you!
