As Head of Operations in the UK, I oversee the processes behind one of Mintel\'s global core products, Global New Products Database (GNPD), as well as the Digital Publishing team, who publishes the content from Mintel\'s Reports and Platforms. For GNPD, my main responsibilities include ensuring good coverage standards in the 86 countries covered in GNPD (working closely with our Coverage Manager and our Field Associates), adherence to SLAs, quality of data published, and daily management and development of a global team. I also work closely with our commercial teams to support clients when needed. The Digital Publishing team is responsible for publishing everything that Mintel produces to a very high standard, scheduling, planning, and monitoring the production processes from format to publication stage. The team includes graphic designers, who create engaging infographics and designs for all our global platforms and all reports worldwide, editors, who assure language standards of the content published, and translators, who work with the Portuguese and Mandarin versions of our reports.
