About Vishal Arora
Currently working on making a unified read API for no-SQL data using spring boot framework in java. The API can read data from ElasticSearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra with the same request payload.I have also worked on the following- Creation and automation of Data Mart on a Hadoop cluster(managed on Cloudera) for a telecom giant (using Apache Spark, Hive, Oozie, Impala, and shell scripting)- AWS (for services like lambda, DynamoDB, ec2, EMR, API gateway, etc), Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine)- Writing complex SQL queries (in Oracle and SQL Server)- Serverless web application using various AWS services like API gateway, lambda, s3, DynamoDB, and glue for tag-based search and data cataloging in CSV files on s3 bucket- Parallel programming as my major project in M.Sc Computer Science which involves Speeding-up handwritten digit classification using parallel programming with CUDA in python.
