   With over four years of experience as a logistics supervisor at Tata Steel, Jamshedpur, I have gainedvaluable expertise in rail logistics operations. My role revolves around the management of Rail Traffic,overseeing the transportation of approximately 0.1 million tons of raw materials per day. These rawmaterials, including coal, limestone, and iron ore, are crucial for the smooth operation of various internal departments such as lime plants, Sinter Plants, Coke Plants, and Blast Furnaces.In my position, I have been responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of these raw materials withthe right quality to our internal customers. By leveraging my strong operational planning skills, I havemeticulously strategized and optimized transportation processes to maintain uninterrupted production schedules and enhance customer satisfaction.Furthermore, my role requires close coordination with the Indian Railways to maximize the utilizationof national rail assets. Through effective communication and collaboration, I have facilitated the timely exchange of load and empty rakes, optimizing capacity and minimizing delays in the transportation process.One of my significant accomplishments has been the reduction of cash outflow in terms of Rail PenalCharges. By leading a team of 25+ members, we developed a decision model that identified areasfor improvement. Through strategic planning, execution, and continuous monitoring, we achievedsubstantial annual savings of more than 4 crores.
