Labelled as Solution Architect (BigFix Platform Owner / Domain Architecture – Endpoint Management)I lead the architecture and strategic direction of the BigFix platform across the organisation, acting as the technical authority for endpoint management. My role spans platform design, scalability planning, security posture, and governance, including oversight of fixlet/analysis standards, content quality, and architectural best practice.I manage and mentor the engineering team, ensure consistent governance across global operations, and drive continuous improvement through automation, training and capability development. While I don’t directly own patching or compliance programmes, I play a key role in shaping their strategies and ensuring the BigFix platform underpins them in a secure, efficient and scalable way.Beyond day-to-day architecture, I act as a bridge between engineering, security, operations and leadership teams, ensuring the platform evolves in line with organisational goals, regulatory requirements and emerging technology trends.
