I partner with leaders and employees to deliver end-to-end HR support, combining strategic programs with daily people operations. I am the main HR contact for our Canadian team and also support US employees, managing employee relations, policy guidance, and ad-hoc requests. I oversee Canadian benefits and leave of absence programs, from enrollment through return-to-work, while ensuring compliance with provincial legislation.I handle sensitive employee relations matters including performance discussions, PIPs, and terminations. This includes preparing talking points, explaining benefits and offboarding details, and ensuring compliance with Canadian and US processes. I provide advice to managers on performance and behaviour-related issues to support fair and consistent outcomes.I design and deliver onboarding programs, presentations, and buddy systems that help new hires integrate quickly and feel connected. I lead engagement and recognition programs, plan social events, and use feedback from surveys and exit interviews to guide improvements.I also manage end-to-end recruitment, from writing targeted job descriptions and sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring decisions. I am Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) certified and First Aid trained, adding a safety and compliance lens to my HR work.My focus is on building HR processes and programs that are practical, compliant, and supportive, creating a positive experience at every stage of the employee lifecycle.
