ABOUT AHMED A.
My name is Ahmed, i\'m 27 and am a Civil Engineer with 10 years of hands on professional experience, now exploring the realms of structural 3D modelling using Revit. My experience in the Civil Engineering industry working in the Highway Engineering departments has accredited me with proficient use of professional software for the use in my field, AutoCAD (including Civil3D, AutoCAD MAP GIS, AVT Vehicle Swept Path Analysis), Adobe packages including Illustrator and Acrobat, and many Microsoft Office Packages just to name a few. i am now also getting stuck in modelling multi storey steel and concrete structures in Revit.I have worked on masses of highways projects for both private and public sector clients, including projects of multi million pound value, from initial scoping stage through to detail design for construction. Able to liaise confidently with clients and design teams as Principle Designer on projects to manage and produce deliverables within set time schedules.Current member of the ICE (Institute of Civil Engineers) 2014 – present and,CIHT (Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation) 2015 – Present.I am strongly motivated and aspire to obtain Charted status by the ICE (Institute of Civil Engineers) in the near future. In addition to my career progression as a Civil Engineer; i am a Japanese car enthusiast. I have huge passion for cars in the automotive environment and am fuelled by the potential of driving professionally in the Motorsport industry. Growing up in the JDM car-scene environment, i have vast car knowledge, and i now also hold lots of experience with all kinds of basic vehicle repair/mechanic/maintenance/diagnostic procedures including the installation of performance upgrade parts with the ability to operate numerous general mains/hand/air powered tools, including automotive specifics in order to carry out tasks.Having countless hours behind the screen of \'Gran Turismo (the real driving simulator)\', I am now building hands-on experience behind the wheel of Japanese performance purpose built track cars, to apply my knowledge and ability realistically on MSA accredited UK Race Circuits. I would love to seek the opportunity, and would not knock the chance to professionally enter into any field in the Motorsport industry.instagram ~@19hmxd
