ABOUT ANDREA MARTELLI
I became Head of Biofuels Trading in Eni Trading and Shipping S.p.A. in 2019 (the London based trading arm of Eni in charge of the trading operations within the group, since January 2021 Eni Trade and Biofuels S.p.A.) with responsibility to redesign and enlarge the biofuels trading activities. In 2020 I took also over the role of Head of biofuels Supply for Eni. With these two roles, I lead the overall Trading, Portfolio Optimization, Supply, Sales and Sustainability of biofeedstocks/biofuels activities (e.g. Biofeedstock, HVO, Biodiesel, RED/FQD, new initiatives) of Eni. Since April 2021, I have been a Member of the Board of Directors of Eni Trading and Shipping inc (the Houston based trading arm of Eni). With more than 18 years’ experience within the group I covered different roles in several countries, focusing in particular on the setting up, development and restructuring the business: I have been German and Austrian Branch Manager with the responsibility to redesign gas sales in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and also Head of Gas & Power Sales in France, Italy and BeNeLux and Lead Originator for gas, power and emissions.
