ABOUT ITAI COHEN
I\'m a Software Engineer with a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specialising in C/C++ and embedded systems. My experience spans the full software development life cycle - from design and implementation to testing and optimisation - often at the intersection of software and hardware.I\'ve developed low-level, low-latency algorithms, real-time communication protocols and performance-critical systems. I\'m also experienced in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.The projects I’m most proud of include developing embedded software for smart energy management in single-phase inverters, deployed in over 2.5 million units globally. I also implemented a battery protection system that safeguards more than batteries in the field and improved communication efficiency between controllers by optimising message timings.I\'m driven by the challenge of creating efficient, high-quality software that supports innovation and long-term system stability.Having recently relocated to London, I am now exploring opportunities to further my career, take on new challenges, and contribute to innovative projects that drive technology forward in diverse industries. I am particularly interested in leveraging my skills in software engineering within the finance sector, to help build cutting-edge solutions that enhance financial services and drive technological advancements.
