ABOUT ISSA HASHIM
I’m fascinated by how the smallest of things can have the biggest impact such as memory B cells in our adaptive immune system or the lack of a single semicolon on our code base. I acquired a microbiology degree in 2018 from UBC and worked in the quality assurance department of the food industry for over four years. Driven primarily by my interest in the video game industry, I decided to embark on an exciting journey into the world of computer science. As of May 2024, I\'m thrilled to have completed my second major in Computer Science and am actively seeking full-time software engineering opportunities. With a keen attention to detail and a knack for tackling complex challenges, I\'m eager to contribute to innovative projects and make a meaningful impact in the tech industry. Outside of work, you\'ll find me indulging in my diverse interests, from ballroom dancing and video games to calisthenics, chess, and playing the guitar.
