ABOUT ISRAEL EDEH

Growing up, I was always the person friends turned to when their phone or laptop stopped working. That curiosity led me from fixing devices in my spare time to pursuing a Software Engineering degree at Anglia Ruskin University, where I am now in my final year.Right now, I am working on a project for the National Cyber Security Centre; I am creating an AI-assisted application which would be used by the body to verify how higher institutions meet its benchmark for cybersecurity degree accreditation. This was a project delivered through the close partnership of leading cybersecurity departments in the country, including Anglia Ruskin University, University of Warwick, University of Roehampton, and others, under CSE Connect, an academic network designed to connect collaborators from government, industry, and academia to drive innovation in cyber security education. The software solution would help NCSC grade Higher Education Institution accreditation applications more efficiently, using AI to extract evidence, highlight risks, and generate feedback reports, while keeping human judgement firmly in control. It is still in active development, but I am excited about its potential to streamline a critical process in higher education accreditation without sacrificing quality or security.Previously, I have also worked with a legal-tech startup, Largence, as a founding engineer. This is an Anglia Ruskin University startup initiative through the Anglia Ruskin Enterprise Academy, and has been recognized for its innovative approach to legal drafting and collaboration. Currently, it is approaching its final launch to market stages, and I am truly humbled by the opportunity to have made contributions to developing that initiative in its preliminary stages. These experiences have developed my expertise in the new AI frontiers for automation, regulatory controls, compliance, and analysis across tech, financial, legal, health, and engineering industries, but most importantly, they have contributed to my innate zest for creating innovative tech solutions. I am looking for careers across Tech, Health, Compliance, Auditing, Financial Engineering, Regulatory Services, Data, and wherever I could make a solid, measurable contribution.Outside of lectures, I still unwind the same way I did growing up: by taking apart broken things and getting them working again. From switchboards to phones, laptops, and home electronics, that hands on habit keeps me close to real problems. It also shapes how I build & design software.
