After serving two consecutive roles as an Engineering Business Manager and Program manager, I oversee all aspects of program management activities for product design, development, budget, vendor selection, cost management and resource allocation for the manufacturing of equipment.As an Engineering Business Manager, I lead costs management initiatives for Aerospace programs by implementing Earned Value Management Systems. I drive process improvement and automation through root cause analysis of financial and technical processes, leading the business unit and supporting the Engineering Director on the Business Unit level. I manage cost short and long term (year-over-year) for rated Customer and Company funded programs over $20M spend annually, with status presentation directly to top company officials globally on a monthly basis. At the same time, I fast-track project completion of outstanding high visibility programs eligible for close-out. Additionally, I identify training opportunities and deploy training sessions to promote 100% compliance with business processes and company standards.During my tenure as a Program Manager, I engaged across multiple functional organizations to secure project parameters. I forecasted budgets and schedule plans in accordance with EVMS guidelines, as well as resolved product development issues with global vendors after launching training initiatives to increase product quality.
