I am a first-generation college graduate from Los Angeles, California. I earned my B.A. in Psychology at the University of California — Merced in the Spring of 2024.My time at the University of California, Merced has fostered growth as an individual academically, socially, and professionally. It is here, that my involvement allowed me to tap into the many opportunities that are here. As a Fiat Lux Scholar, I found a community and counselors that supported my needs and allowed me to become more comfortable with being transparent and asking for help. With a supportive community, I felt that I was able to expand my network and further my involvement. With that foundation, I furthered my experience into research, where I had the opportunity to be involved in SURF through UROC for the summer of 2023, and continue research te following Academic Year through LAEP. Also, I found myself involved in club and organization though PSI CHI and the Psychology Club.I am eager to participate in activities that will develop my academic and personal growth.
