About Isra Khaled
My professional journey has always involved education. After I graduated high school, I have been working either directly with students, or indirectly for students, in order to help them reach their full potential of success. I am a first-generation college student, and I received a lot of support when I was applying to college, and again when I was in college to ensure I graduate. I owe a lot of my success to the opportunities I was exposed to because the adults around me believed in my ability to succeed. I now want to be that adult in a student’s life who can advocate for them, help motivate them and expose them to opportunities that will help them progress in life. I believe that through my past and present experiences I have been that adult multiple times. I now want to be able to do that on a larger scale.
