After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a 2:1 in English, I pursued a career in teaching to make a meaningful difference in young people’s lives. As an English Teacher at Smith\'s Wood Academy and a participant in the Teach First programme, I am passionate about improving literacy and helping students develop confidence in their voice and ideas.My academic training sharpened my analytical, research, and communication skills, while my classroom experience has strengthened my leadership, adaptability, and resilience. I am driven by a belief in educational equality and the transformative power of language and literature.I am open to opportunities that will broaden my expertise, refine my practice, and assist my grow both personally and professionally.
