ABOUT ISLEA GALAZIN

I am inspired by the world in which I live and that inspiration drives my life. The need for new experiences and a better understanding of the world has directed me to take chances and to seek out new opportunities. At one point I decided to travel the world on my bicycle grasping hold of different cultures, people and experiences. This inner drive and profound experience led me to choose a career path that gives me an outlet for a constant stream of creativity. After spending four years at Savannah College of Art and Design surrounded by minds that pushed me past what I had thought to be true, I discovered the means to open up my world to the endless possibilities through the impact of design. I have come to understand that Architecture and Design goes beyond the building structures alone and that by creating spaces we are able to empower users to find their individual purpose while nurturing their unique needs. When I realized that designers are not only problem solvers but also problem seekers I knew that I had found the right profession. I thrive on fixing problems and altering negative consequences by understanding situations and predicting outcomes. I believe that a thoughtfully designed space has tremendous power. For these reasons I seek to design spaces and desire to be constantly surround by people who are equally inspired by the power of creating meaningful design.
