Ms. Nelson has 20 years of experience working in environmental planning with a resource specialty in cultural resources management. Ms. Nelson has extensive experience completing cultural resource documents in compliance with Section 106 and Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act in addition to conducting historic background research and documentation, orienteering, identifying and recording prehistoric and historic cultural resources. She has experience working on numerous National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents as deputy project manager/project coordinator and lead for cultural resource sections, providing client support with government to government consultation, and Section 106 consultation throughout the continental United States. Ms. Nelson has worked with a variety of federal clients including the Army, Air Force, Navy, National Guard, Marine Corps, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, National Park Service, and the U.S. Forest Service.
