The primary role of a study sabbatical is to foster the NYCPS educator\'s professional growth and research capabilities by providing uninterrupted time for scholarly work, intellectual refreshment, and new skill development. Professional development will be facilitated by Hunter College and Mercy University on mixed methods research, transformative learning theory, adult learning on ELL/MLL teaching approaches, and strategies to support high school students with Autism and ADHD.Additionally, I will devote my sabbatical on improving my French language skills at a conversational and professional level.
