About Ishu Agarwal

I am an educator, movement and arts therapy practitioner, life skills curator, striving to live sustainably and an enthusiastic cook. All the courses that I have studied post my college were taught experientially. I have been able to experience the power of the group process in an individual\'s learning. I could reflect and learn about the different aspects of the self apart from the concepts I was learning, and was able to get various perspectives on the theories I was learning. This has deepened my interest in experiential learning and I use my learnings in designing and facilitating sessions. Through my work, I realized that the need to create safe spaces is not just for children but also for adults, so that they can unlearn unhelpful patterns that they have developed while growing up and also explore and express different aspects of themselves. The way adults talk to children, it becomes a child\'s self- talk and they learn behavior patterns from them. This drives me to design and conduct workshops for adults so that they have more agency over their life, are able to work on their communication skills, self care, mindfulness and mental well- being.
