ABOUT ISHMUM AHMED
I am a 3rd Year Electrical Engineering student at the University of Toronto, with a foundation in hardware and software development, including experience with C/C++, Verilog, NIOS-II, and ARM. I am passionate about gaining complex problem solving abilities, and refining my technical expertise through hands-on projects. I will be joining AMD as a co-op student in May 2025.I have worked on a diverse set of projects, including developing an FPGA-based Fall Detection Algorithm and System. My technical proficiency also includes tools such as Intel Quartus, Altium Platform Designed, ModelSIM, and MultiSIM, alongside standard lab equipment used in signal or waveform analysis. I have also gotten involved within my school community as the Co-Director of Marketing for UofT\'s Bangladeshi Student\'s Association for the 20••••24 academic year, as well as an active member of the Alumni-Mentorship Program from my first year as an undergrad.
