The Platform Re-engineering team was created for the main purpose of improving time to market of new products and technology, Re-engineering is a technique to build legacy applications in a new technology or platform, with same or enhanced functionality- usually by adopting Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). This is the most efficient and agile way of transforming legacy applications. The core output of the PRE team is platform components that can be used by other product teams within the organization. These platform components include hardware, software, and user experience workflows to help our customers get the most out of new technology we provide. Responsibilities:1. Engineering Owner for Common Data Model infrastructure across Metasys products and Smart Edge Device platform2. Discussions with leadership and stakeholders and ensuring a well-defined roadmap for teams3. Team budget and resource allocation4. Recruitment and people management5.
