About Ishita S.
With a global spanning career and years of experience in Corporate and Tech Law, I am a seasoned attorney who specializes in Technology, Venture Capital, Corporate Governance, and M&A matters. I have deep expertise in leading and managing on an end-to-end basis, tech VC deals, tech acquisitions and both buy-side and sell side deals in Dubai, U.S, and India, having worked for most of my career in top tier law firms and in tech/financial companies. I am also certified in Mergers and Acquisitions and hold a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance, Deals Negotiations and Securities Law from Columbia Law School, New York, U.S.A. Recently, I have become a certified in-house counsel through the ACC Corporate Counsel (former American Corporate Counsel) and I hold licenses to practice law both in India and in New York.I am passionate about staying abreast of the latest trends and developments in Deep Tech and Emerging Tech, and being part of the evolving dialogue on privacy, AI, and cybersecurity issues. I also care deeply about advancing gender and neurodivergent inclusion practices in the legal and tech sectors and ensuring Boards are advised to take DEI efforts seriously and have a well pronounced approach to these issues. I am currently the Head of Legal at Indihood, a social and financial inclusion tech platform that works at the intersection of tech, law, and social impact attempting to bridge the information scarcity gap to address poverty in India. I feel really privileged to lead the Legal division of this Company that is driven by a vision of empowering communities and imagining a world that is driven by building capabilities through every strata of the society.
