ABOUT ISHITA MOGRA
My path into product wasn’t perfectly linear, and that’s shaped how I build products today.I started my career working around financial systems, compliance processes, and enterprise infrastructure, where workflows were complex and often slowed down by fragmented tools. I was always asking: Why does this need so many steps? Why are teams building workarounds? Why does the tech exist but the experience still feels broken? That curiosity eventually pulled me into the product. I realized the most meaningful work happens when you sit with users, understand how systems behave in the real world, and design platforms that remove friction rather than add complexity. Over the past 8 years, I\'ve built products across commerce platforms, mobile banking, ad-tech, and enterprise systems, leading teams that generated $200M in transactions and $15M ARR. My focus is transforming fragmented tools into scalable infrastructure that drives revenue and operational efficiency. Today, as Group Product Manager at CHEQ by Cantaloupe, I lead product strategy for a 30+ engineer organization, building foundational commerce systems across thousands of venues. My work spans payments infrastructure, identity systems, fulfillment platforms, and ledger architecture, increasingly leveraging GenAI for predictive insights and analytics.I approach product development through a simple framework- Inputs: Customer insight, experimentation velocity, system architecture, and increasingly, AI-assisted product workflows- Outputs: Revenue growth, scalable platforms, operational efficiency, and better customer experiences.Outside of work, I stay curious about how systems, both technical and human interact with each other. I enjoy exploring new technologies, observing how people use tools in unexpected ways, and understanding the patterns behind how products succeed or fail. Because in the end, great products don’t just work technically. They work the way people actually think and behave.Blog: https://medium.com/@mograishitaLet\'s connect if you\'re working on challenging problems in commerce, payments, fintech, or platform infrastructure.
