Directed Air Defense Artillery batteries that facilitate air support for military operations. Responsible for the tactical employment, Command-and-Control, and airspace management of missile systems and radar units. Ensured the batteries could conduct contingency and administrative operations. Facilitated operations of the batteries while maintaining the readiness of Command-and-Control systems. Managed state-of-the-art military computers on complex tactical networks, communications systems, and radars to provide early warning, detection, and protection for armed forces and defended areas from aerial attack, theater ballistic missile attack, and aerial surveillance. Oversaw international borders movement and emplacement of multiple battery sites, accountable for over $3.2B of military equipment. • Deputy Commander of Army Coordination Cell; coordinated the full spectrum support and tactical management of over Army Soldiers deployed to a combat zone. Served as the Base Commander’s staff subject matter expert on all Air Defense matters to counter an imminent and ever-present airborne threat. Established, briefed, and implemented the execution of air defense protocols to ensure the safety of friendly military equipment, personnel, and infrastructure in an austere geographically isolated base. • Lead representative of a Joint Service group spearheading an overhaul of Base’s Defense plan enabling the Base commander to manage his defense plan and situational awareness efficiently in a hostile combat zone. • Implemented base-wide improved early warning software system for airborne threats which significantly reduced response time for a base contingency plan in the event of airborne attacks on friendly forces.
