Ishara Eranga is a Hydrotechnical Engineering Trainee with the Project Delivery Group at Hatch, working closely with both the Hydrotechnical and Geotechnical groups. With a strong background in Civil Engineering, Ishara has demonstrated a profound interest in Geotechnical Engineering and has significantly contributed to high-impact projects both in Canada and internationally. Inspired by visits to various dam construction, rehabilitation, and preliminary investigation sites in Sri Lanka, Ishara developed a passion for dam engineering. This passion led him to pursue a career in Civil Engineering, where he strives to create positive impacts on communities and improve the quality of life for people. Throughout his journey, Ishara has gained diverse experiences in comprehensive research, field inspections, detailed technical analysis, and project management. His expertise spans across various sectors, including dam engineering, dam safety, flood studies, wind farm projects, and environmental assessments. Ishara is dedicated to leveraging his technical expertise to develop innovative engineering solutions that address the needs of end-users and enhance community well-being.
