About Ishan Lal
My name is Ishan Lal, and I am a senior at the George Washington University in Washington DC. I am studying Political Science with minors in Philosophy and Law and Society. During my time in DC, I have served as a legislative intern with Congressman Clyburn\'s Office and as an intern with Chair Harrison\'s Office at the Democratic National Committee. Last summer, I interned for Nelson Mullins Riley and Scarborough in their DC office and currently serve as a policy fellow at K&L Gates. I have held large leadership positions as the Youth Governor of the State of South Carolina and at the collegiate level with the GW Student Government Association. My experience in distinguishable leadership, public speaking, and political knowledge greatly prepare me for any position within our nation\'s capitol looking for motivated, undergraduate students ready for an opportunity to learn and serve.
