One of the most exciting aspects of modern age capitalism has been the interaction of technology and society. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is unique as it assays a more significant role to technology than human capital. With artificial intelligence, robotics, Blockchain creeping in all aspects of society, it would be essential to see the interplay of these forces with society, and its impact on jobs. Thus, the focus of my research as a Junior Research Fellow at Delhi Technological University is also on such issues. I have written two papers and a book chapter on the role of technology with one making it to the Top Ten downloads in SSRN networks “Work and Labour” category, while also being included as part of course material Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands.
