ABOUT ISHA HAIDER
As a Software Engineering student at the University of Calgary, I am passionate about exploring and applying various technologies to create innovative solutions. I am currently pursuing a Minor in Mechatronics, which allows me to integrate software, electronics, and mechanical engineering concepts to design and develop smart devices and systems. I am also a Telemetry Team Member at the University of Calgary Solar Car Team, where I work with an interdisciplinary team to create \"Schulich Helios\", a solar-powered vehicle that competes in international races. I am responsible for developing and testing the software that communicates with the embedded systems and the visual communication sub teams, using C#, OOP, and CSS. In addition, I have gained experience in embedded systems, viscomm, and research through my previous roles as a Software Team Recruit and an Undergraduate Research Assistant. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges, as I believe that growth comes from stepping outside of my comfort zone and taking on new experiences. I am looking for opportunities to further expand my knowledge and network, and to contribute to meaningful projects that have a positive impact on the world.
