I am part of the McMaster Robo-Sub team, where I design high-reliability Power Distribution Boards (PDBs) in Altium Designer, implementing multi-layer PCB layouts with proper power integrity, decoupling, and thermal management practices. My work involves interfacing with STM32 and other microcontrollers, managing voltage regulation, current sensing, and communication buses such as CAN, UART, and I²C. I also validate hardware functionality through schematic simulation, layout DRC checks, and bench testing with oscilloscopes and power analyzers. This experience has allowed me to develop strong practical skills in embedded hardware design and system-level integration.
