ABOUT IRINA SEMENTCHOUKOVA

I’m a Product Leader with 5+ years of experience building AI-powered platforms for digital R&D. I specialize in breaking down complex problems into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes, particularly in GenAI and machine learning. My work is grounded in aligning product strategy with business goals — from defining quality gates and KPIs to tracking ROI and delivering long-term value.I began my career as a scientist and transitioned into tech by leading product development at an emerging Agri-tech startup. I later joined BenchSci, where I led cross-functional teams to deliver predictive modelling tools and GenAI features that accelerate drug discovery. My contributions included developing ML models and data mining pipelines for the ASCEND platform, as well as guiding the delivery of GenAI-powered products from concept to launch. I also worked extensively with Google Cloud Platform to support scalable model deployment and AI infrastructure in a B2B SaaS environment.Recently, I completed a full-stack software engineering bootcamp, gaining hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, and modern web development. I’m passionate about building high-impact, user-centred tools, and I bring a growing technical toolkit that enables close collaboration with engineering teams and thoughtful design of AI/ML products.I’m currently open to opportunities in AI and emerging tech, and I am always happy to connect to discuss product leadership, technology, or science.
