About Isaac Schumacher
I’m a senior (Dec 2026) Construction Management student at the University of Wisconsin–Stout, gaining hands-on experience in both preconstruction and field operations as I prepare for a career in construction leadership.This past summer, I worked with Fowler & Hammer Inc.(La Crosse, WI) as a Project Manager Intern on projects including the National Guard Readiness Center (Viroqua, WI), Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Facility (Mauston, WI), and multiple UW–La Crosse renovations.I gained experience with- Project documentation and progress tracking- Estimating, quantity takeoffs and hard-bid preparation- Field coordination and subcontractor communicationNext summer, I’ll be joining Kiewit\'s Bridge & Marine District as a Field Engineer Intern in New Orleans, LA. I’m excited to get hands-on exposure to marine, heavy civil, and large scale infrastructure construction while continuing to develop my technical and leadership skills.I’m motivated to build a meaningful career in high-impact projects, whether that be marine infrastructure, transportation or any other areas of the industry. I am always open to connecting with professionals across the construction world!
