ABOUT ISATOU BARROW
I’m a student at the University of Washington working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I am passionate about using technology to advance accessibility, medicine, and education. My experience spans Materials science and engineering at Columbia University, Nano-robotics at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science, Semiconductor and MEMS processes at the Washington Nanofabrication Facility, and public health and cancer research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. I’m especially drawn to creating innovative tools and technologies that integrate hardware and software to address complex challenges in engineering, medicine, and education. Beyond my technical experience, I’m actively involved in campus leadership and outreach, working to expand STEM opportunities for underrepresented communities. I’m committed to creating solutions that are both innovative and equitable, expanding access and improving lives.
